USC has failed to cover its last five games at home and this is a big number. But ASU has earned it with a rag-tag group that shoots only 39 percent from the field. But I saw something in ASU’s cover (+5.5) at Stanford Saturday, a 79-76 loss. The Sun Devils took smart shots, went 31-of-59 and held Stanford to 38 percent shooting. ASU coach Bobby Hurley appears to have broken through with his club. Take the underdog to cover.

A combination of Arizona State's awful offense and USC's incredible interior defense has this total a few points too low. I can see USC getting into the mid-80s here on its own, but even if it doesn't, the Sun Devils should do enough to get us past this number.
