I was on the fence on this spread but will back the Trojans because it appears Stanford big man and leading scorer Oscar da Silva (18.8 ppg, 58% percent shooting, 6.8 rpg, 2.4 apg, 1.0 bpg) will miss another game with a leg injury. The Cards have lost the past two without him (three in a row overall) and really have no one to deal with Trojans 7-foot center Evan Mobley now. USC beat Stanford 72-66 on Feb. 2. Mobley was great in that one with 23 points and 11 boards and that was facing da Silva. The Trojans are 7-2 ATS in their past nine as favorites.
