National Council on Problem Gambling launches new helpline for U.S. residents
The National Council on Problem Gambling has rebranded its responsible gaming assistance service following a split with 800-GAMBLER in 2025.

The National Council on Problem Gambling has taken its makeover of its services for people concerned with responsible gaming after its lease of the 800-GAMBLER helpline ended in 2025. The new service, 1-800-MY-RESET, represents the same level of service that the council has offered in prior years. If you're in a legal online casino state, click here to receive up to 500 bonus spins plus an 100% deposit match of your first deposit up to $1,000 from bet365 Casino with the promo code SPORTSLINE:
NCPG announces rebranding for helpline
According to a press release from the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG), the 1-800-MY-RESET helpline "is now live and operational to receive calls." The NCPG labels the service as a resource "that individuals can reach out for support at any point in their relationship with gambling."
The NCPG deploys over 20 call centers across the United States, offering information on playing responsibly, seeking assistance with disordered gaming, and referring individuals to additional support in their areas. Interested parties can call 1-800-MY-RESET or visit the dedicated website for other ways to connect.
With this launch, people who enjoy playing on casino apps across the US have another free resource available anytime to educate and support their endeavor to reduce harm associated with gaming. This launch is the result of a stratification of those resources, though.
NCPG rebrand spurred by split with New Jersey agency
Previously, the NCPG operated the 800-GAMBLER service nationwide in agreement with the Council on Compulsive Gambling of New Jersey (CCGNJ). A legal dispute put the operation of 800-GAMBLER firmly in the hands of the CCGNJ in October 2025.
Since then, the CCGNJ has been maintaining services under the 800-GAMBLER brand while the NCPG worked to produce this update. As a result, people who play casino games online can contact either helpline for information and resources.
Players should be aware that neither service provides information on how to play or details about connected queries like online casino bonus codes. People with questions about the Borgata Casino bonus code or similar offers should contact the appropriate casino's customer support.
Both 1-800-MY-RESET and 800-GAMBLER can give people free educational materials and tools to play safer, though. With the launch of 1-800-MY-RESET, the depth of that service in the US is richer.
