BetRivers Casino may integrate newly-launched payment method in near future
A new payments solution, BetRivers Debit, launched in New York as a Visa-branded debit card that creates more freedom and flexibility for online gambling users.

Rush Street Interactive, which operates BetRivers Casino, and partner Sightline Payments announced the introduction of what is believed to be the first integrated debit payments solution in the legal online gambling industry.
Known as BetRivers Debit and first launched in New York, the payments solution allows BetRivers customers to easily gain access to their available wagering balance and provides an easier method to deposit and withdraw from their accounts. Should things operate smoothly, there's a chance BetRivers Debit becomes integrated with the Rush Street's real money online casinos and online casino bonuses.
Details of BetRivers Debit payments solution
According to the announcement, the catalyst behind the product was to put its customers first.
The white-labeled version of Sightline Debit eliminates the need for users to repeatedly withdraw and redeposit. With this new payment method, customers would receive a Visa-branded debit card linked to an FDIC-insured bank account that would store gaming account funds.
As a result, with BetRivers Debit, whatever withdrawable funds are in your account are available not only for playing at BetRivers but also for spending off the casino floor.
In a press release, Rush Street said it expects this innovation to reduce churn and associated high payment costs.
Omer Sattar, co-founder and CEO of Sightline, said that the new payments solution gives BetRivers customers freedom and flexibility to use their funds how, when and where they want.
New BetRivers Casino card assures security protections
It's not just about convenience with BetRivers Debit. In addition, customers will receive enhanced protections, including advanced fraud security features and tools to support responsible gaming through financial transparency and sustainable play, according to the release.
Rush Street CEO Richard Schwartz emphasized BetRivers' commitment to putting its customers first – and BetRivers Debit is just the latest example of that.
Rush Street first introduced the new payments solution in New York, where it operates BetRivers Sportsbook. However, the Empire State is just "the first step in a broader expansion," per the announcement.
Rush Street and Sightline assure that BetRivers Debit will roll out in additional jurisdictions across the US in the coming months.
Along with online sportsbooks in 15 states, Rush Street has BetRivers Casino up and running in four states: Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Assuming everything goes to plan, it would seem likely that BetRivers Casino customers could see BetRivers Debit become available as they play online casino games in their respective states in the near future.
