December could not have been a more fitting finish for online casinos in Pennsylvania – and it could be a sign of greater things to come in 2026. In the last month of 2025, PA online casinos combined for a single-month-high $259.7 million to help drive legal gambling in the Keystone State toward a total of $616.7 million that ranks as the second-highest monthly total in state history.

The bigger story, however, is that iGaming in Pennsylvania generated a record $2.77 billion in 2025, meaning that PA online casinos should easily top $3 billion this year – and potentially even inch closer to $4 billion.

PA online casinos wrap up record year with record month

No month in the seven-year history of PA online casinos was as big as December 2025, which saw a whopping $259.7 million in revenue by over 20 operators in the Keystone State.

The vast majority of that total, though, came from the licenses of Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course and Valley Forge Casino Resorts, which boast some of the best online casinos as partners.

Hollywood – which includes the likes of the BetMGM Casino app, DraftKings Casino and Fanatics Casino – reported nearly $102 million in December revenue. Meanwhile, Valley Forge, which has the FanDuel Casino promo code as a partner, clocked in with just over $71 million. Combined, the two licenseholders accounted for 66.6% of all December iGaming revenue.

Behind the performance of online casinos in Pennsylvania, total gambling revenue in the state came in at $616.7 million in December, which fell just shy of the single-month high of $623.1 million that was reported in November.

How 2025 revenue total sets up big 2026

With over $2.7 billion in total revenue generated by online casinos in Pennsylvania, 2025 marked the sixth straight year the vertical saw year-over-year growth.

But it's not just about the annual increase so much as how much the industry has grown – particularly over the past four years.

All told, PA online casinos enjoyed a 27.2% spike from 2024 to last year, representing the fourth straight year that iGaming in the state saw a yearly increase of at least 22%.

If that trend continues in 2026, online casinos in PA will easily surpass $3 billion in total revenue. In fact, if another 25% yearly jump occurs – as it did in each of the past three years – iGaming operators will finish the year with around $3.5 billion.

All of this is to say: If 2025 was monumental, 2026 should be historic.
