Eagles 2023 NFL futures odds, props: Philadelphia favored to be last unbeaten team for second straight season

The Philadelphia Eagles are the betting favorites to be the last unbeaten team.

The NFL's last unbeaten team each year hasn't won that season's Super Bowl since the 2006 Indianapolis Colts were the last to lose at 9-0. The Philadelphia Eagles were the last unbeaten team at 8-0 in 2022 and are the +750 favorites at DraftKings to be the final unblemished team again this year. Of course, they came up just short in Super Bowl 57 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Philadelphia's first 2022 loss came on a Monday night at home as an 11-point home favorite in Week 10 against Washington. The Eagles lost 32-21, uncharacteristically turning the ball over four times. The 2022 roster remains largely intact, with running back Miles Sanders replaced by new arrival D'Andre Swift. Quarterback Jalen Hurts got his big extension, and during the draft the Eagle bulked up again on former Georgia players on the defensive side.

DK also has a prop on certain teams starting the season 5-0 and Philadelphia has the cheapest odds at +450, with No at -650. The Eagles are 4.5-point favorites Week 1 in New England, and should get to 5-0 if they win that game, as they will be favored Week 2 vs. Minnesota, Week 3 at Tampa Bay, Week 4 vs. Washington and Week 5 at the L.A. Rams. That the Patriots are Philadelphia's first loss is a +170 favorite. This will be the first time the Eagles open vs. an AFC East foe. That the first Philly loss isn't until Week 6 against Aaron Rodgers and the Jets is +900.

Philly and Kansas City both have the shortest odds (+3500) to finish 17-0. The Eagles are +500 to finish with the most wins in the NFL. They have the NFL's toughest schedule by their opponents' combined 2022 winning percentage of .567. No team has repeated in the NFC East since 2004. The Eagles are +115 to do it.

FanDuel has a few yes-only Eagles specials. That they score at least one touchdown in every regular-season game is -170. That Hurts throws 30 TD passes is +150. A sweep of the Cowboys is +185 and an unbeaten NFC East record is +900.
