Understanding Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

Zack's Analysis:

Even with Drake Baldwin on the ten day IL, the Atlanta Braves lineup has not skipped a beat. They have scored eight or more runs in three out of their last four games. A key contributor to that success yesterday was Ozzie Albies. Albies had two hits for the first time in ten games, and ended a two for twenty eight stretch. When a prime hitter like Albies ends a slump, I’m going to back for a string of games. He also has great lifetime numbers against Sandy Alcantara, hitting .313 in 48 at bats.

Adam's Analysis:

The Braves have the No. 2 offense in baseball so far, and their 5.9 runs per game average on the road is exceptional. Meanwhile in their last nine games, the Marlins have scored 9+ runs three times and under-3 runs four more. Guess which side of the spectrum we project vs. Spencer Strider (2.45 ERA)?
