Mississippi State's HC Zack Arnett was very much out coached last week versus LSU. The Bulldogs will be playing their first road game after going 1-2 ATS at home to start the season. I think South Carolina's HC Shane Beamer is an excellent coach, learing from several Hall of Famers. Beamer is 10-5 ATS at home in his 2+ years. The Gamecocks had an easy cover versus the #1 team in the country last week. Take South Carolina laying less than a touchdown.

I think Mississippi State senior QB Will Rogers deserved better for his last season than learning a new system under new offensive coach Kevin Barbay. The Air Raid as we knew it is gone with a more balanced attack expected. Just 344 ypg for the Bulldogs so far and it’s extremely balanced and they got drilled at home by LSU, 41-14, last week. This will be their first road game of the season. I would lay up to 9 with South Carolina here so this is a bonus. I’m on the Gamecocks to cover.

The Bulldogs offense and quarterback Will Rogers just seem off without coach Mike Leach running the show. (RIP, coach.) And now they go to South Carolina for their first road test of the season. The offense needs to be completely buttoned-up for Mississippi State to have a chance, but I trust the Gamecocks defense more.
