Inclement weather in the forecast has driven down this total by a touchdown. Honestly, it should have originated in the mid-50s. Kent State has replaced nearly all of its skill position guys, along with the head coach. UCF is devoted to the running game, having ranked ninth nationally a year ago. If the weatherman/woman proves correct, rain will soak the teams, and the Golden Knights will stick to the ground, put Kent away early and train their sights on the rest of the schedule in this inaugural Big 12 season.

Kent State is the least experienced team in college football as they only return four starters from last year's team. UCF, on the other hand, returns eight starters from a team that averaged 32.9 points per game last season. Despite rain potentially playing a factor, I believe UCF can score in excess of 45 points so we'll be relying on likely two scores from Kent State to hit this number.
