Creighton is 6-1 SU against UConn since the Huskies re-joined the Big East. I like the Bluejays to be very competitive here, especially with the status of Donovan Clingan (foot) in question. Even if Clingan plays, it likely won't be major minutes. That sets up well for Ryan Kalkbrenner (15.9 ppg, 7.4 rpg). Look for Baylor Scheierman (18.0 ppg, 8.3 rpg) to continue his strong play in what should be a tight game.

The Big East is also full of minefields, and even during the title season a year ago, the Huskies had problems with Creighton, which inflicted the last reg-season defeat (before Big East Tourney and Big Dance) on UConn last year and retains a similar look featuring 7-2 C Ryan Kalkbrenner, who could prove extra troublesome for Dan Hurley with his own 7-footer Donovan Clingan not quite ready to return from his foot injury.
