There is a great sports slate on Tuesday, July 8, and new bettors can take advantage by using the latest FanDuel promo code, which gives first-time users $150 in bonus bets if their first bet of at least $5 cashes. Let's look at the latest FanDuel offer as well as previewing a couple of notable games coming up.

How to claim the FanDuel promo

Here are the instructions for how to secure the FanDuel promo code.

  1. Click "CLAIM BONUS" on this page.
  2. Register for a FanDuel account and enter the information the sportsbook requires (name, birthdate, social security, etc.).
  3. Put in a first deposit of $5+.
  4. Make a first bet of $5+ at any odds.

If your initial bet wins, FanDuel will award you with $150 in bonus bets. There isn't an odds requirement for the initial wager, so we recommend picking as big of a favorite as possible to maximize your chance of getting the $150. You can use the $150 in bonus bets however you'd like, whether it's one $150 bet or three $50 bets or 15 $10 bets, but all of the bonus bets expire in seven days.

Best bets for Tuesday, July 8

The lone A-graded MLB pick from the SportsLine Projection Model is in the Washington Nationals vs. St. Louis Cardinals contest at 7:45 p.m. ET. The Nationals are in last place in the NL East at 37-53 and just fired manager Dave Martinez a couple of days ago. The Cardinals are 48-43 and in third place in the NL Central but have dropped five of their past six games. The Cardinals hope to turn things around with Sonny Gray (8-3, 3.51 ERA) on the mound, while the Nationals will counter with Jake Irvin (7-3, 4.71 ERA). St. Louis is a sizable -207 favorite, per SportsLine consensus odds, but the SportsLine Projection Model is siding with the underdog on the run line. Washington covers the +1.5 in 65% of simulations, bringing strong value considering that the Nationals are -124 on the run line.

The New York Liberty suffered their first home loss of the season this past Sunday, falling 79-70 to the Seattle Storm. New York has now lost six of its past nine games after the defending champions started off 9-0, as the Liberty have really struggled with Jonquel Jones sidelined with an ankle injury. The Liberty are aiming to bounce back against the rival Las Vegas Aces, who they beat 92-78 in their season opener. New York is a 4.5-point favorite on the spread for this clash at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN, and WNBA experts Calvin Wetzel and Aaron Barzilai have made a few plays for tonight's matchup.

The FIFA Club World Cup continues on Tuesday with the first semifinal match, featuring England's Chelsea and Brazil's Fluminese, kicking off at 3 p.m. ET at MetLife Stadium. SportsLine's Jon Eimer has three picks for the game.
