FanDuel promo code for Dodgers vs. Padres, Cubs vs. Phillies and more on June 10

Los Angeles and Philadelphia will try to get series wins Tuesday as part of a 15-game MLB slate

ByUpdated: Jun 10, 2025 3:28PM UTC . 4 min read

The Los Angeles Dodgers and Philadelphia Phillies both got wins in extra innings Monday, with Tommy Edman providing what would be the winning run for Los Angeles against the San Diego Padres and Brandon Marsh walking things off in the 11th inning as Philadelphia snapped a five-game losing streak against the Chicago Cubs. The Dodgers now hold a two-game lead in the NL West as they meet the Padres Tuesday, while the Cubs try to avoid dropping two in a row to the Phillies and three in a row overall. Those contests are part of a 15-game MLB slate.

Best bets for Tuesday, June 10

Dylan Cease (1-5, 4.72 ERA) gets the call for the Padres, who look to get back in the win column after a tough loss in extra innings Monday. Cease has struggled this season despite racking up strikeouts, allowing three earned runs in each of his last four starts. He only made it past the fifth inning once, when he went 7.0 innings against the Blue Jays. The Dodgers appear to be heating up again after scoring one run or less three times in a recent four-game stretch, which could be a bad sign for Cease. The SportsLine Projection Model likes the pitcher to go Under 6.5 strikeouts but is backing the Padres to win. San Diego comes out on top in 53% of simulations.

Marsh was the hero for the Phillies in the 11th inning, as his walkoff single snapped a five-game skid. Philadelphia turns to Mick Abel (1-0, 0.79 ERA) to try to replicate Zack Wheeler's strong outing, while the Cubs counter with Colin Rea (4-2, 3.59 ERA). Rea did not strike out a single hitter in his last start but the SportsLine model sees him going Over 3.5 strikeouts Tuesday. It also likes the Cubs on the money line, as Chicago wins in 57% of simulations.

Even though there's no NBA Finals game, basketball fans can catch the WNBA with the reigning champions New York Liberty facing the Chicago Sky and the Indiana Fever taking on the Atlanta Dream. The Fever have won their last two games despite missing Caitlin Clark, who remains sidelined Tuesday due to a quad injury. Check out Tuesday's best WNBA bets from SportsLine experts Calvin Wetzel and Aaron Barzilai, including a pick on the Fever-Dream total.
