Best bets for Thursday Night Football
The Ravens are behind the 8-ball on Thursday with both Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley out, meaning undrafted rookie Joe Fagnano has been pressed into duty at quarterback. Fagnano was 10-of-21 with 91 passing yards and an interception in last week's loss to the Buffalo Bills, but the Ravens will be hoping for more against the high-flying Jaguars. Jacksonville enters Week 9 averaging 28 points per game, the fifth-best mark in the league. The SportsLine Projection Model, which simulates every game 10,000 times, has the Over hitting at a 64% rate.
Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence has surpassed 300 passing yards in two of his last three games and the Ravens are middling at best at defending the pass. With lead running back Bhayshul Tuten questionable after missing practice all week, Lawrence could be positioned for a big game. The SportsLine props model likes the Over on Lawrence's passing prop, as it has him projected for 280.2 passing yards.
