There are 15 games on the MLB schedule on Sunday, July 20, headlined by the Detroit Tigers visiting the Texas Rangers on Sunday Night Baseball. The Chicago Cubs are also in action as they look to sweep the Boston Red Sox, while the Seattle Mariners try to extend their five-game winning streak when they host the Houston Astros. Sunday also brings the last round of the British Open and the NBA Summer League final between the Sacramento Kings and Charlotte Hornets.

Sports fans interested in wagering on the day's action can do so with the latest DraftKings promo code, which gives users $150 in bonus bets when they wager $5 or more.

Best bets for Sunday, July 20

The Tigers have struggled of late, losing their last six contests heading into Sunday's matchup with the Rangers. They'll turn to ace Tarik Skubal (10-3, 2.23 ERA) to try to snap this skid, while Texas goes with Jacob Latz (1-0, 3.00 ERA) after Nathan Eovaldi was scratched from his scheduled start due to back tightness. Detroit is a -207 favorite on the money line in the latest SportsLine consensus odds but the model is backing the Rangers as +172 underdogs. Texas wins in 39% of simulations to bring value at these odds.

After dominant outings from Colin Rea and Shota Imanaga in the first two games, the Cubs are hoping Cade Horton (3-3, 4.45 ERA) can keep the strong pitching going against the Red Sox Sunday. Horton struggled in his last appearance, giving up four runs in 4 2/3 innings. The Red Sox will turn to Garrett Crochet (10-4, 2.23 ERA) to try to avoid getting swept. Crochet struck out nine in nine shutout innings against the Rays in his last start. The SportsLine Projection Model has given an "A" grade to Cubs +1.5 on the run line and Cubs money line at +117 (wager $100 to win $117), as Chicago covers in 71% of simulations and wins in 53% of simulations.

Across the pond, Scottie Scheffler is a -8000 live favorite to capture the 153rd Open Championship. Scheffler, who won the PGA Championship this year, has been dominant through the first three rounds and has a seven shot lead over Haotong Li as of this writing. However, Rory McIlroy is a +250 favorite in the betting market for the winner without Scheffler, while Li is +300.
