I see Todd Fuhrman beat me to this news but indeed Connor McDavid is not expected to play Wednesday off his stellar Olympics to give him a bit of a break. Coach Kris Knoblauch seemed to hint to the local media that McDavid might not play this week. The NHL's points leader hasn't missed a game this season. The Oilers were 8-7-0 without him last year. The Ducks might be the better team regardless.
