The offense is firing but the story has been on the defensive end and especially in goal, where recently-added Tristan Jarry and recently-recalled Connor Ingram have authored blanks. Tonight it's Jarry, the centerpiece of last month's Penguins deal involving Stuart Skinner, and posting a 1.94 GAA and .931 saves in two games since missing with injury from December 18. For the Devils, it's the second of a back-to-back after an OT win last night in Calgary, with Jacob Markstrom in goal; tonight it's Jake Allen, who has lost his three January starts while posting a 3.80 GAA and .875 saves.
