Though he's missed recent action, Boston has been struggling regardless, losing three straight amid the latest offensive flame-out (just five goals in those three). Enormous pressure is on Jeremy Swayman in goal to keep Boston close enough every outing, though amazingly the Bs are just three points behind the last East playoff spot. It's a bad time to run into Tampa Bay, as the Lightning are surging with ten wins in eleven, and scoring goals in bunches (12 across the past two games; Jake Guentzel a hat-trick in Thursday's win over the Sabres).
