Throughout these Stanley Cup playoffs, trends have tended to move in tandem, especially on the "totals" side. So, we view this Stars-Oilers Game 3 in a prism formed by Sunday's high-scoring East finals matchup between the Rangers and Panthers (5-4 NY in overtime). There has been little free space on the ice for any of the weapons on both sides in the first two games of this series, but too much firepower both ways for scoring to stay subdued, and expect adjustments made for tonight. Also still not completely confident in Stuart Skinner keeping the Edmonton goal clear after some of his failures earlier this postseason. Play Stars-Oilers "Over"

The numbers say let's roll with the over, as the Oilers have found themselves in plenty of high-scoring games at home this postseason, but what we're seeing on the ice just can't allow it. Unders have been dominating the conference finals, and that's the path we have to traverse until something changes. I lean Edmonton winning this one.
