The Blackhawks have been playing like their season already ended; in the current three-game tailspin, they've scored only three goals. That's a troubling indicator against a surging Carolina that still has a shot (remote, but a shot) to leapfrog the Rangers in the Metropolitan and perhaps wins the President's Trophy. Wins in six of seven for the Canes, who have posted three shutouts between Pyotr Kochetkov (slated to start tonight) and Frederik Andersen across that span. Meanwhile, Chicago apparently turns back in goal to Petr Mrazek, who when last seen on Wednesday was shell-shocked by the Blues, allowing goals on his first three shots (!) before getting pulled.
