The Blackhawks have lost seven straight and have been downright awful on the road. They lost to Colorado 5-0 on Monday, and it's hard to see them being much better on Tuesday night. Play the Coyotes on the puck line here
We didn't quite have enough nerve to back a team that has lost seven straight and 15 of 16. But there's another route to take tonight if we really want to take the Blackhawks as the Puck Line offers a chance plus the extra goal at a still-reasonable price. We won't try to make a fundamental justification on a Chicago preference, but this is more of an anti-Arizona spot, even as the Yotes are off back-to-back wins. Fourteen losses preceded, and this is a time-tested schedule spot against the team coming home after an extended road trip. Chicago usually gets support in the Valley of the Sun, too, even though only 5000 seats are available at the Mullett Arena! Play Blackhawks on Puck Line
The Blackhawks have been just horrible on the road. Over the past month and a half, Chicago is averaging just 0.8 goals per game as the visitor, scoring just once or fewer in nine of their last 12 away games. They've coupled that offensive ineptitude with some real poor defense, and with Arizona having scored five goals in back-to-back games, we like the Coyotes to control pace tonight, especially as Chicago just played yesterday. Arizona has won three straight against Chicago, scoring 16 goals and allowing just four in those meetings. We like them to cruise tonight.
