We got ahead of two line movements last week in our breakdown of the Week 7 lookahead lines, including touting the Steelers as 1.5-point favorites in Paris against the Saints. Even with the Saints beating the Giants on the road and leading by as many as 24 points in the fourth quarter, the market is not impressed by New Orleans, moving that game as high as Steelers -3.5 at some books.
While we also got a good number on the Vikings in our column, we did not anticipate the big line move on the Texans, who went from 7.5-point favorites to 10.5 as of Thursday. Other key line moves involving the Rams, Eagles and Ravens were all at least partially injury-related.
