NFL playoff odds: AFC North, NFC West favored divisions to win Super Bowl

The Ravens are favored to win Super Bowl 54, so naturally the AFC North is favored to be the title-winning division at DraftKings.

The AFC North had a Super Bowl champion once in the just completed decade: The Baltimore Ravens following the 2012 regular season. This year's Ravens are the +220 favorites on the NFL futures odds to win another title after a 14-2 regular season and franchise-record 12-game winning streak to end it. That gave Baltimore the top seed throughout the AFC playoffs. Thus, the AFC North is the +230 favorite on the FanDuel NFL odds to be the title-winning division.

Obviously, NFL bettors would be putting all their eggs in the Ravens' basket in wagering on the AFC North because no other division team made it – or even finished with a winning record. Pittsburgh entered Week 17 with a chance for a Wild-Card spot but needed to win at Baltimore (it didn't) and have Tennessee lose at Houston (Titans didn't).

The second-favorite on this NFL prop is the NFC West at +320. There, bettors get two teams in the NFC top-seeded San Francisco 49ers (+400 to win Super Bowl) and No. 5 Seattle Seahawks (+2500). Seattle is a slight favorite this Sunday in the Wild-Card Round at Philadelphia, but a Seahawks win would mean a trip to San Francisco in the Divisional Round unless No. 6 Minnesota pulls an upset at No. 3 New Orleans on Sunday. At least a Seahawks-49ers Divisional game assures the West a team in the NFC title tilt.

The AFC West is next at +430 and that's only the AFC No. 2 Kansas City Chiefs (+450), who haven't reached the Super Bowl since beating the Vikings in IV. K.C. would have reached it last season if not for a late fourth-quarter offsides call on Dee Ford that gave the Patriots second life in the AFC title game.

The NFC South (Saints only) is +550 and NFC North (Packers and Vikings) +600. The South hasn't had a champion since New Orleans following the 2009 season. The long shots are the AFC South (Texans and Titans) at +2300 and NFC East (Eagles only) at +3500. The AFC South's lone Super Bowl winner was Indianapolis following the 2006 season. Houston is one of four active franchises to never play in that game.
