The Jaguars have lost six straight and it's hard to see where their motivation comes from Sunday. Josh Allen's return gives Buffalo a boost. Grab the points but don't be surprised by an outright upset.
Josh Allen is probable for the Bills who have lost five straight. Surprisingly, the Jaguars have the same 3-7 record and come in Sunday rolling on a six-game losing streak. What happened here with a team that was a game away from the Super Bowl last season? The good news for the Jags is the running game is good to go with Leonard Fournette. They should have beaten the Steelers last week but had some awful fourth-quarter play calling, again. Jags get the win and cover.
If you're giving me points with Blake Bortles and a Jaguars team that has nothing to play for on the road in a cold-weather game, well, I'll happily take them. Josh Allen is finally back for the Bills, and while I don't think he's anywhere near being a good QB, he's certainly better than most if not all of the players who took snaps in his stead. The only outdoor games of 45 degrees or lower the Jags have won since 2010 have come in Cleveland against an awful franchise. Buffalo has the coaching and defense to get the win here.
He’s back. Promising rookie QB Josh Allen returns after a four-game injury hiatus — just in time for Buffalo to bump into an intimidating defense. Still, this is a low total to clear. The Bills have been Over in three-fourths of their last 20 home dates. The Jaguar offense is no juggernaut, but the recent return of RB Leonard Fournette is certainly a boost. Don’t worry about any wintry weather inhibiting the offenses. Clear skies and temperatures in the 40s await.
I don't know who will be starting at QB for the Buffalo Bills and I don't care. I'm taking the Jaguars here. Buffalo scored 41 points against the Jets, but that was a fluke. This is the same offense that averaged barely more than 10 points per game the first nine weeks, and it's not going to do anything against the Jaguars defense.
I think Josh Allen will play, and his return combined with Buffalo's solid defense should get us a cover. I just think Jacksonville is a fraud this year. And you've got to look at the weather with a team coming to Buffalo from Florida.
