Kenyan Drake finished as the RB3 in the weeks he was a member of the Arizona Cardinals in 2019, and he projects for a similar role in 2020. See where Drake ranks for Fantasy expert Jacob Gibbs this season.

Kenyan Drake was always efficient in his time with the Dolphins, but Miami never gave him the opportunity to operate as an every-down back. After being acquired by the Cardinals in a midseason trade, Drake was Fantasy's RB3 from Weeks 9-17 . Where should he be in your 2020 Fantasy football rankings, and what Kenyan Drake Fantasy football outlook can you expect?

Arizona traded away former franchise back David Johnson this offseason and did nothing else to address the RB position, so Drake is again expected to carry a heavy workload in 2020. DeAndre Hopkins joining the Cardinals will certainly change the team's offensive dynamic somewhat, but he'll likely have more of an impact on Larry Fitzgerald and Christian Kirk than Drake.

The 2020 Kenyan Drake Fantasy football value remains strong, as he's set for another 1,000-yard campaign. He's a top-15 RB candidate in most formats, but how high should he be in your 2020 Fantasy football rankings? Here's what you need to know:

So which players are poised for breakouts, which sleepers do you need to jump on, and which busts should you avoid at all costs in your Fantasy football league? Join SportsLine now to get early 2020 Fantasy football rankings, plus see which WR is going to come out of nowhere to crack the top 10, all from the model that out-performed experts big time last season.

    No. 10.1 ADP
    No. 8 RB

Kenyan Drake Fantasy projections (via SportsLine's projection model)

184 rushing attempts, 847 rushing yards, 9.4 rushing touchdowns, 75.2 catches, 430 receiving yards, 1.26 receiving touchdowns
    188.8 Fantasy points (non-PPR); 246.9 (PPR)

    Kenyan Drake 2020 Fantasy outlook

After being acquired from the Dolphins in Week 9, Kenyan Drake almost immediately assumed a workhorse role for the Cardinals. Despite David Johnson and Chase Edmonds being relatively healthy during that time, Drake's snap rate never dropped below 64 percent in any individual game. He was Fantasy's RB3 from Week 9 on, and his 19.9 PPR points per game during that time would have trailed only Christian McCaffrey and Dalvin Cook over the course of the full season.

In 2019, Arizona's lead back -- David Johnson in Weeks 1-6, Chase Edmonds in Weeks 7-8, and Drake from Week 9 on -- combined to score 319 Fantasy points, which would have ranked as the RB2 in Fantasy. That combination also compiled 79 targets on 388 routes run, which would have ranked seventh and fifth at the running back position.

When it comes to expected workload in 2020, there are only a handful of backs who project more favorably than Drake. He is set up to play 80 percent of the snaps, dominate the goal line work, and see 70-plus targets. From a talent perspective, nothing from Drake's profile in his time in the NFL stands out. Independent of offensive situation, Drake is not the caliber of back that Derrick Henry, Aaron Jones, Nick Chubb, Josh Jacobs, or Jonathan Taylor are. That's only a small piece of the puzzle for Fantasy purposes, though, where projected workload is much more important than individual talent. As such, I'm confidently drafting Drake ahead of every back I just listed -- he's my RB8 and 10th overall player for half-PPR formats.
