The Nets are going to be shorthanded for this game. Cameron Johnson, Dorian Finney-Smith and Lonnie Walker IV are all out with injuries. They also traded away Spencer Dinwiddie and Royce O’Neale. Simmons probably still can’t play 30 minutes, but he doesn’t need to in order to hit this over. He hasn’t played more than 20 minutes in any of his three games since returning from injury, but he had at least 14 combined rebounds and assists in each of them.

This is a chunky combo line in what is undoubtedly a brutal matchup against the white hot Cleveland Cavaliers. Cam Thomas is in the midst of a true breakout season and is firmly in the mix to win the Most Improved Player hardware. Thomas has had some monster performances this season however they tend to come against subpar defenses. The Cavs possess an elite D and are 2nd in Defensive Efficiency. Furthermore, Cleveland's D surrenders the fewest PRA by a sizable margin to opposing shooting guards. Look for Cleveland's suffocating defense to make things difficult for Thomas.
