Sharpe was held in check by the Pelicans on Monday, scoring 12 points over 35 minutes. He shot just 5-for-13 from the field, which is rare for him considering his shooting percentage of 47.9 percent for the season. Prior to that, he had scored at least 24 points in all three games since being moved into the starting five. Look for him to bounce back with a big scoring performance against a Kings team that ranks inside the bottom-10 in the league in defensive rating.

With Portland now more focused on the NBA Draft Lottery than the playoffs, the 7th pick in the 2022 draft is getting extra run. In the last four games, Sharpe has averaged 37 minutes per game, and regardless of whether tonight's game will be a blowout (spoiler alert, it likely should be), he will get extended minutes for the Trailblazers. In those four games, Sharpe has averaged 22 points per game and 6.5 rebounds per contest. He's taken an average of 16 shot attempts, including seven 3-pointers and I expect a similar line tonight. SportsLine's projections have the rookie from Kentucky at 32 points + rebounds tonight and to me, that might even feel low. I'm confident in taking this Over.

This is an auto fade for me any time I can find this particular line close to even odds. For starters, Thybulle is a 33% career three point shooter on 2.2 attempts per game. He is getting up 4 attempts per game since joining the Blazers at the the trade deadline, but that kind of volume does not justify these odds. Thybulle got off to a hot start with the Blazers and made 16 threes in his first seven games, but has made only 13 three point field goals in his previous 12 appearances on just 3.6 attempts per game. He has failed to eclipse this line in five of his previous six games as well and with the Blazers checking in as 14 point underdogs, he could have a short night.
