Thankfully, I played the Kings last night at -210 on the ML because now that has doubled with the Blazers ruling out Damian Lillard and Jerami Grant on top of the injured Jusuf Nurkic and Anfernee Simons. Are you freaking kidding me? Resting guys the first game after a week-plus off? Never even heard of that. Adam Silver just kicked his cat (seems like a cat and not a dog guy) in utter disbelief. Something has to be done about this. But ... I'll take this total now because who is scoring for Portland? It was 241.5 and probably keeps dropping.

The Trail Blazers will get Jerami Grant back from injury for this game, but Anfernee Simons (ankle) and Jusuf Nurkic (calf) are out. Simons has a 25 percent usage rate and is averaging 21.4 points per game, so the Trail Blazers will need someone to help take some of the scoring pressure off of Grant and Damian Lillard. Enter Reddish, who is never one to shy away from jacking up shots. He has scored at least 11 points in two of three games since joining the Trail Blazers, and should benefit from facing a Kings team that ranks inside the top-10 in the league in pace of play and inside the bottom-10 in defensive rating.
Anfernee Simons (21.4 ppg) and Jusuf Nurkic (13.8 ppg, 9.4 rpg) are out for the Blazers, who are 5-8 without Jurkic this season, while Malik Monk (13.4 ppg) will return after missing two games for the Kings. De'Aaron Fox has scored 20+ points in 12 of his last 15 games for Sac-Town, including 25 points or more in 10 of those outings, averaging 27.3 points and 6.4 assists per game on 52.0% shooting in that span. While I'm on the ML, Portland is 2-9 ATS in its past 11 away.
