Logan Gilbert struggled last time out, and it's been a majorly disappointing season for him and the rest of his teammates. But how about one last solid performance before the offseason? Gilbert will face a familiar foe in the Angels, and as we know they have some serious strikeout potential in that lineup, with just two hitters below a 24% K rate. The underlying K stuff looks good over the past month too, with the slider and splitter each registering over a 50% whiff rate. As long as he's not getting knocked around, Gilbert shouldn't be limited much and I think he's motivated to finish on a high note in front of the disappointed home fans, especially after that previous start. 8,9,10 Ks.
