The bullpen at least is in excellent shape behind good-looking rookie lefty Parker Messick (10-8, 2.50 ERA). The Royals' Seth Lugo struggles during the day (5.76 ERA) and away (5.35 ERA). He has allowed 19 earned runs over his past 26 innings pitched overall. Thought about F5 at a better number, but I want to take advantage possibly of that well-rested Guardians pen. Think -1 would be fine too with KC at 12-28 vs. southpaws.

Twenty of 24 lefty starters have now stayed under this line at home against KC. Parker Messick is one of baseball’s elite southpaws, and has stayed under this line in 19/26 games, allowing a .206 average (.216 xBA). I’d bet this down to under 4.5 for a partial unit as well (+115 or better).
