He’s a big time regression candidate on general (3.86 xERA, .257 xBA), and I love the Yankees to churn out at least five hits tonight. The Yanks do make pitchers work, but Martinez does not miss bats and does walk anyone. He’ll continue to pump the zone (sixth highest zone rate out of 120 qualified starters), looking to induce soft contact. Even with the Yankees bats in the midst of a slump, looking for them to reach the five hit mark within the first 21 hitters tonight.
