They're alive! The Yanks staved off elimination with a Game 3 rally to prevail 9-6 in last night's win-or-else Game 3. The possibility exists that the Yankees could lose consecutive series at home after getting a win to stave off elimination (as the case in the World Series vs. the Dodgers last fall), but the Bronx Bombers can avoid that fate if Cam Schlittler pitches as well as his last two starts, allowing no runs and just seven hits across 15 IP vs. the Bosox and Orioles.
