The Bucs might be a candidate for a cool-down after a brave recent uptick that saw them win 11 of 14, and five straight series, reality struck again last night in a 5-2 loss to the high-flying Brewers. True, Brandon Woodruff has a had a few bumpy starts in recent weeks, but his last effective start was a brief four-inning, shutout stint vs. these same Bucs on August 13. That was part of a three-game Brew Crew sweep, and adding in Friday's win, Milwaukee has outscored Pittsburgh 38-8 across the last four series wins.
