By comparison, Detroit starter Casey Mize looks an easier touch, even though the Tigers have won in his last five starts; chalk that up to run support (44 Detroit runs in those five starts), not necessarily Mize, with a subpar 5.25 ERA in his last two starts. Meanwhile, A's Cuban rookie Luis Morales, has opened lots of eyes in his four starts, with a 1.72 ERA, and the A's have pulled within a game of the Angels for 4th place in the AL West.
