The oddsmakers don't seem particularly swayed by recent team form here, as the Mariners limp home on the heels of five straight losses, while the buoyant A's, by far the best AL West team since the All-Star break, enter off of a comprehensive sweep of the Twins. While Bryan Woo has a respectable 3.02 ERA for Seattle, the Mariners have still lost in five of his last seven starts. Playing loose and easy, the A's look dangerous, and Friday starter Luis Morales proved he could at least get thru five innings relatively unscathed in last Saturday's 7-2 win over the Angels.
