The Pirates might have lost seven of eight, but the performances weren't bad on the weekend at Wrigley Field, where the Bucs played the Cubs in three tight, low-scoring games (winning once). Tonight it's back to PNC Park for Paul Skenes, who has been hard to touch vs. every team not named Milwaukee, which got to Skenes again last Wednesday. At home, however, Skenes has recorded a 1.70 ERA in eleven starts. As always with Pittsburgh, the question is how much the Bucs can score, and the Jays' Kevin Gausman might be tough to solve, having allowed 2 or fewer runs in seven of his last nine starts, likely keeping the Pirates in check before Toronto goes to its bullpen.
