Too late for a playoff push by the D-backs? Maybe not. They've won six of seven to get much closer (now 4.5 games) to the fading Mets for the the last playoff slot. Since last Friday, Arizona has also beaten the Rocks four straight by a combined 33-14 after last night's 8-2 romp in Denver, and now the D-backs get to take swings against Tanner Gordon, whom they blasted last Sunday in Phoenix for ten runs and 12 hits in just 4 2/3 IP. Gordon has a 20.03 ERA across his last three starts, and Colorado foes have scored 38 times in those three games alone...sheesh!
