Kikuchi has been excellent at home this season with a 1.98 ERA and the Mariners have a high strikeout rate against lefties. They've never seen him before as a team and very few Mariners players have faced him. I like something like seven strikeouts in six innings here and I love the plus money.
Just swept at Citi Field by the Mets, and suddenly the Halos are at risk of losing touch in the AL wild card race (they're five out, with six teams to leapfrog, into tonight). They're back at the Big A, but recent efforts on the mound by Yusei Kikuchi (5.17 ERA last three starts) aren't encouraging. Meanwhile, the Mariners have remained solidly in the wild card chase, but will expect the offense to reignite after a tough three-game set vs. the Brewers (winning 1 of 3 vs. Milwaukee isn't so bad right now). Seattle's bullpen might also need to deliver as Logan Evans has only been good for five innings (if that much) in three July starts. Play Mariners on Money Line
