The lights went back on for the Yanks yesterday, as the offense finally started to roll and Clarke Schmidt pitched seven no-hit innings in a 9-0 romp past the Birds. On 103 pitchers, it was time for Schmidt to exit before he could complete the no-no, but in the end the Birds only managed one hit and NY emphatically snapped out of a 1-7 skid. For Sunday, Baltimore will again hold its breath with erratic Dean Kremer, who has had a few solid efforts but still has a 5.19 ERA for June. If the Yankees offense really is back in gear, Will Warren should be the beneficiary and have some runs to work with on Sunday. Play Yankees on Run Line
