We know All-Star JD Martinez is out for the Dodgers (expected back Saturday). Max Muncy left last night's game due to a HBP and likely sits. Are Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman good enough to win this by themselves for LA? Sure, but that Padres lineup clearly will be superior (on paper anyways) tonight. SD also was off Thursday and that fortified bullpen is good to go behind Yu Darvish. He has been very hit or miss but generally a different guy at Petco and was strong in his one 2023 outing vs. LA. Bobby Miller is having a solid rookie season for the Dodgers but might be wearing out with his innings dropping and his ERA rising. Should be a madhouse tonight in the best rivalry in the sport currently.
