I don't have much faith in the A's, who are just 4-18 this season. On the other hand, the Angels' offense hasn't been very productive either. Yes, Ken Waldichuk gave up six runs to the Angels in his home opener. Although, he may have turned things around as he pitched five shutout innings against the red hot Cubs. Jose Suarez has also struggled this season, but the pressure will be on to avoid getting demoted. I can't not take this under at 10.
The A's are pathetic. In fact, going by run differential they are the worst team since the 1800s at this point in the season, so grabbing the run line against them has been very fruitful. Lefty Ken Waldichuk starts for the A's and he got crushed by the Angels in his first start of the season. The Angels overall are third in the majors in wRC+ against lefties, trailing only the Rays (naturally) and the Cardinals. The A's bullpen has a 6.99 ERA, too, in case Waldichuk somehow keeps down the Angels' offense. Jose Suarez starts for the Angels and while his numbers look bad, he was much better last time out against the Yankees and has only allowed one run (it was unearned, too) in 12 innings in his last two starts against the A's. A blowout is pretty likely here, so the run line (-1.5, -110) it is!
