    Understanding Public and Money

Think of 'Public' as the percentage of people betting on each side and 'Money' as how much money is being bet. When there's a big difference between the 'Public' and 'Money' data, it usually means that the more serious bettors (referred to as 'Sharp Money') are favoring a particular side.

    John's Analysis:

I am remaking this play with Luis Cessa now starting for the Reds instead of Mike Minor because I always list starting pitchers. The Brewers hit righties much better than they do lefties so I actually like this matchup better. Luis Cessa has been solid since entering the rotation but he gives up home runs and walks. Eric Lauer has been great lately, his numbers are just inflated by his last start being at Coors Field. The Brewers are 11-5 against the Reds this season and 5-2 on the road, I think they continue to win and stay in the Wild Card race.
