Lance McCullers Jr. has been excellent since his return from the IL, going 3-1 with a 2.20 ERA. He made his first start of the season against the A's last month and pitched six shutout innings. Even if McCullers doesn't get very deep in the game, he'll be backed by the best bullpen in the league. On the other hand, James Kaprielian is 3-9 and has recorded a loss in four of his last five starts, in which he's recorded a 6.56 ERA and 1.90 WHIP. Kaprielian rarely pitches more than five innings, leaving a lot of time for the A's struggling bullpen. The Astros are on a four game win streak and have won 12 of their last 15 games.
