Might as well get my play in for the Little League World Series game now. The Red Sox and Orioles will face off for the third game of the series from Pennsylvania with Little League World Series participants in attendance. The Red Sox are 16-30 in the AL East this season and they have only won one series in the division. Dean Kremer has been very good in August going 2-1 with a 2.64 ERA and he has the 6th best bullpen in the league since the All-Star break behind him. Nick Pivetta has been better lately but he struggles within the division, allows a lot of walks, and allowed 3 ER in 4.1 IP against the Orioles earlier this season. He also has the worst bullpen in the league since the All Star break behind him. The Red Sox closer, Garrett Whitlock, also pitched two innings on Saturday. I like the Orioles to win this series.
