Cal Quantrill has been very good this season not allowing more than 3 ER in a start yet. He has also pitched three straight quality starts. The White Sox were on a winning streak before their loss last night, Josh Naylor hit a game tying grand slam in the 9th inning, then a game winning 3-run home run to win the game in extra innings. That is a massive momentum swing for both these teams. These two starting pitchers have performed pretty similarly so far this season, the bullpens are ranked very close to each other, yet the Guardians are ranked first in the league in wOBA against righties while the White Sox are ranked 4th worst in the league. The White Sox have now won 7 of their last 10 games but the Guardians have won 8 of their last 10 games. I like the value on the Guardians here.
