Jordan Lyles didn’t pitch particularly well in his first start but he actually was pitching very well to end the season. He also pitched very well allowing just 1 ER in 6 IP against the Yankees last season. The Yankees played last night using all their top relievers in a win to split the series against the Blue Jays. The Orioles had yesterday off, and they were 8-11 against the Yankees last season including 4-6 at home. I think the Orioles win one of the games today or tomorrow so this is a strategy I like to use for underdogs because if one hits we come out profitable. The Orioles bullpen was ranked worst in the league last season, however they are putting up a 1.33 ERA so far this season in 29.1 IP. I don’t think that will last, but they have been good lately.
