The Seattle Storm host the Phoenix Mercury on Saturday in a WNBA matchup at Climate Pledge Arena. The game could mark one of the final times best friends and on-court rivals Sue Bird of the Storm (1-2) and Diana Taurasi of the Mercury (1-1) face off in the WNBA. The teams met Wednesday, with Phoenix taking a 97-77 victory at home.

Phoenix is a 2.5-point favorite in the latest Mercury vs. Storm odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the Over/Under for total points scored is 164.5. Tip-off is set for 3 p.m. ET. Before you make any WNBA picks or predictions, you NEED to see what women's basketball experts Calvin Wetzel and Aaron Barzilai are saying.

Barzilai is a Ph.D. from Stanford who served as Director of Basketball Analytics for the Philadelphia 76ers. Five years ago, he founded HerHoopStats.com -- a groundbreaking website that unlocks insights about the women's game. Wetzel, the site's lead betting writer, incorporates his mathematical background and strong knowledge of women's hoops to turn the site's prediction model into picks.

Now, Barzilai and Wetzel have turned their attention to the WNBA after going 590-430 overall (+127.40 units, +13.6 percent) during the 2021-22 women's college basketball season. Anyone who has followed them has seen HUGE returns.

The Storm could again be without Breanna Stewart, who missed Wednesday's matchup with COVID, but Jewell Loyd scored 26 points in her absence. Loyd is the team's leading scorer at 20.7 per game, and she averages 1.3 of Seattle's 10 steals per contest. Phoenix got 22 points and 11 rebounds from Tina Charles, who averages 18.5 and seven. Skylar Diggins-Smith is the team's top scorer at 22 points per game.

Wetzel and Barzilai, who hit on two of their three picks on Opening Night, have scoured the rosters and broken down the matchups for the Mercury vs. Storm matchup. They have revealed their best bets, and they are leaning Under the total, and they have found a critical x-factor that leads them to a STRONG play on one side of the spread. You ABSOLUTELY need to see their predictions and analysis before locking in any Storm vs. Mercury picks.
