The UConn Huskies seek their fourth win in five games when they host the Massachusetts Minutemen on Friday. UConn (4-5) is coming off a 13-3 triumph over Boston College last Saturday, its first victory in 15 all-time meetings with the Eagles. Massachusetts (1-7) is looking to halt its five-game losing streak after falling 23-13 against New Mexico State last weekend.

Kickoff at Pratt & Whitney Stadium in East Hartford, Conn. is set for 7 p.m. ET on CBS Sports Network. The Huskies are 15.5-point favorites in the latest UConn vs. Massachusetts odds, while the over/under for total points scored is 40.

Before making any Massachusetts vs. UConn picks or college football predictions, you NEED to see the predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The model simulates every FBS college football game 10,000 times. Over the past six-plus years, the proprietary computer model has generated a stunning profit of almost $3,000 for $100 players on its top-rated college football picks against the spread. Anyone who has followed it has seen HUGE returns.

The model knows the Huskies improved to 3-1 at home this season with the victory against Boston College, giving them their highest win total on their own field since the 2016 campaign. UConn has played solid defense of late, allowing 14 points or fewer in three of its last four contests. Junior linebacker Jackson Mitchell has been a force. He is second in the nation with 100 tackles and ranks fourth with an average of 11.1 after recording 12 versus the Eagles.

The model also knows Massachusetts owns a 38-35-2 record in the all-time series against UConn. Senior running back Ellis Merriweather was instrumental in the Minutemen's 27-13 home victory over the Huskies last season, rushing for 171 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Merriweather is second on the team in rushing with 324 yards on 89 carries and gained a season-high 84 in the loss to New Mexico State last Saturday.

Now, the model has set its sights on UConn vs. Massachusetts. We can tell you it is leaning Over on the total, and it also says one side of the spread hits well over 50% of the time! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any college football picks.
