Twins vs. Brewers odds, lines: Advanced computer model reveals picks for Wednesday's contest

SportsLine's Projection Model has generated picks for Wednesday's game between Minnesota and Milwaukee

By@SportsLineUpdated: Jul 13, 2022 2:32PM UTC . 3 min read

Two division leaders conclude a brief two-game series Wednesday as the Minnesota Twins, who are first in the American League Central, host the Milwaukee Brewers, who sit atop the National League Central. Milwaukee (49-39) maintained its two-game division lead over St. Louis by posting a 6-3 victory in Tuesday's series opener. With the loss, Minnesota (48-41) now is 2 1/2 games ahead of Cleveland. First pitch at Target Field is set for 1:10 p.m. ET.

Minnesota is listed as a -125 favorite (risk $125 to win $100) on the money line in the latest Twins vs. Brewers odds from Caesars Sportsbook, while the over/under for total runs scored is 8.5 (see the latest lines for every game on our MLB odds page).

Before making any Brewers vs. Twins picks, you NEED to see the latest MLB predictions from the SportsLine Projection Model.

The SportsLine Projection Model simulates every MLB game 10,000 times, and it is 275-236 on top-rated MLB money-line picks since the start of the 2021 season, returning over $400 for $100 players. This is the same model that pegged the 2021 Atlanta Braves at 10-1 as one of three best bets to win it all last season. Anybody who has followed it has seen profitable returns.

The model knows Minnesota is in a rut as it has lost four of its last five contests. The team managed only six hits in Tuesday's loss, with Jorge Polanco recording two of them - including a solo homer. The 29-year-old Dominican second baseman leads the Twins with 45 RBI while Byron Buxton has belted a club-high 23 home runs.

The model also knows Milwaukee avoided a three-game slide with the series-opening victory, which was just its second win in six contests. Andrew McCutchen got the Brewers off to a good start with a two-run blast in the first inning and Willy Adames belted his team-leading 18th shot to highlight a three-run fifth that gave the club a 5-2 lead. Adames is riding a five-game hitting streak during which he has recorded three doubles, two homers and four RBI.

Now, it has set its sights on Twins vs. Brewers. We can tell you the model is leaning Under on the total, and it also says one side of the money line has ALL the value! You ABSOLUTELY need to see it before locking in any MLB picks of your own.
