Today's top picks: Yankees to win at plus money is among best bets, plus more MLB, NHL Playoffs, college baseball and MMA picks for Saturday, June 18

The crew runs through the storylines and betting trends, then Allan offers up two SportsLine Plays of the Day. The first is from the NHL Stanley Cup Final. SportsLine expert Jeff Hochman is predicting Under 6 goals (-110) in the Lightning vs. Avalanche Game 2 in Denver (8 p.m. ET). Two of Tampa Bay's three Game 2 matchups in this postseason have gone Under, and all three of Colorado's have done the same.

The other play is from soccer insider Martin Green on MLS, and he is taking Both Teams to Score (-150) in Seattle Sounders vs. LAFC (3 p.m. ET). Los Angeles has scored 29 goals in its 14 matches to lead MLS, and the Sounders are coming on strong after winning the Concacaf Champions League last month.

Mike has an MLB pick, taking New York -0.5 runs in the first five innings (-115) of the Mets vs. Marlins matchup (4:10 p.m. ET). "I'm going to pick on (Miami starter) Braxton Garrett," McClure says. "I don't think he's very good, at all." Garrett hasn't pitched a lot, but he has been allowing a ton of base-runners. "I think the Mets are going to have a lot of success against him."

Micah has two MLB picks, and he is backing the Yankees +123 against the Blue Jays (3:07 p.m. ET). "The Yankees have won eight straight, they are 41-10 in their last 51 games, and they're getting plus money," Roberts says. "This is crazy." Toronto starter Alek Manoah has been excellent, but Micah thinks New York is going to find a way to beat him.

Roberts is also backing Cleveland +205 in the Guardians vs. Dodgers game (7:15 p.m. ET). "Cleveland's won five straight," Micah says. "They're playing amazing ball." Los Angeles has lost six of its last seven games behind Saturday's starter Julio Urias.

Andrew is all over UFC Fight Night, and he has two plays from the MMA card that starts at 7 p.m. His first pick is from the co-main event between Donald Cerrone and Joe Lauzon. "Two legends, both guys that  unfortunately are way past their prime," Gombas says. He likes Cerrone to win but is playing Under 2.5 Rounds (-175). Lauzon's "whole win condition is an early knockout," the expert says, and Cerrone is likely to dominate his out-of-shape opponent after the first round.

His second pick is Guram Kutateladze +155 over Damir Ismagulov in a lightweight bout on the UFC Fight Night main card. "I don't see many holes in Kutateladze's game," Gombas says. "And I know it's an unpopular pick this week, but I am going with the dog."

Gombas wraps things up with a surprise MLB pick, and he also is backing the Yankees +123.
