Jonathan Coachman is joined by sports betting experts Mike McClure, Jon "Buckets" Eimer, Micah Roberts and Allan Bell on The Early Edge podcast. They give you their best bets for Major League Baseball, soccer, the NFL and the PGA for Sunday, Aug. 21.

Coach starts things off with the SportsLine Play of the Day: The Eagles (-2) to cover against the Browns in their NFL preseason matchup (1 p.m. ET). "Emory Hunt says to fade the team that can't run. Go with the team that can," he says. "We're at that point where you don't want to show too many of your cards, but you've still got to get that offense going."

McClure is up next with an MLB play. He likes the Astros Over 3.5 runs (-110) against the Braves (1:35 p.m. ET). "Charlie Morton has been fine. He had a really poor start to the season but turned it on," Mike says. "One thing that he's still doing though is, he's still giving up home runs at an above-average clip for where the rest of his data is. That's not a recipe for success against this lineup."

Roberts follows with an MLB play of his own. He likes the Rockies (+115) to beat the Giants and complete the three-game sweep (3:10 p.m. ET). "The Rockies have been really good at home. They're 34-30, that's pretty good if you consider what they've done on the road this season," Micah says. "At home, they're averaging 5.7 runs, they're hitting .285, smacking the ball. They've got three super-hot hitters going right now, and then they've got Kyle Freeland. … The team is 7-5 at home behind him. He's +6.75 units, leads the team as far as the pitching staff goes. … He's 9-2 against the Giants over his career."

Coach jumps in with a pair of plays in the PGA's BMW Championship. The first is Patrick Cantlay (+100) over Xander Schauffele (1:45 p.m. ET). "When he gets to this event, he gets stronger and stronger and stronger and stronger," he says. "And look what's happened - 68, 68, 65, even with three missed putts inside of five feet. Cantlay is the play. He will win today."

His second play is Aaron Wise (+115) over Joaquin Niemann (1:15 p.m. ET). "People sleep on this cat," Jonathan says. "He is really, really good - 69, 68, 67. As the course is getting harder, he is getting better."

Eimer continues the show with three soccer plays. The first is Over 1.5 goals in the first half (-140) of the match between Bochum and Bayern Munich in the German Bundesliga (11:30 a.m. ET). "This is one of the more volatile matchups you'll see in all of German soccer," he says. "Bayern Munich has been on an absolute tear. In their first two games, they have seven first-half goals. Bochum is one of the only teams in Bundesliga that know how to kind of get Bayern going and tick them off a little bit, so I'm expecting a ton of goals in this matchup."

Next, Jon likes both teams to score (-140) in the French Ligue 1 contest between Lille and PSG (2:45 p.m. ET). "PSG is, well, PSG. They're a team that's going to score five goals a game, no matter what," he says. "But they've got that kind of Bayern mentality where they're just not going to play defense. They don't win by defending, they win by scoring - again and again and again."

Eimer's final play is both teams to score (-120) in the match between Hajduk Split and Lokomot Zagreb in Croatia HNL (3:05 p.m. ET). "Hajduk Split is the much better team here, but they've also had to do Champions League and Europa League qualifiers for the past three months now," Buckets says. "They are exhausted, they are tired and they're a little bit injury-ridden now. We're expecting Zagreb to get, potentially, a couple goals here."

Bell wraps things up with The AB Pick 4. All four plays are in MLS as he likes both teams to score (-145) in the match between Charlotte and Orlando (7 p.m. ET), both teams to score (-170) in the game between Kansas City and Portland (7:30 p.m ET), both teams to score (-130) in the contest between Nashville and Dallas (8:30 p.m. ET) and both teams to score (-165) in the match between Chicago and NYCFC (6 p.m. ET).
